The Renew Foundation is seeking to work closely in the UK’s most deprived regions. These regions suffer from chronic underrepresentation. The Foundation is supporting communities turn neglect around by investing resources and skills into independent candidates so that they can make their voices heard within the UK’s democracy.
All too often, the communities that need local voices the most are the communities without the means to support them. We want to level the playing field giving those communities the chance to make their voices heard and bring real change.
Increasing participation in deprived communities and increasing their representation is at the core of the Renew Foundation’s philosophy.
